In this week’s email, we talk about how to increase your energy levels.  As a business leader or entrepreneur, you need to maintain high mental and physical energy levels to keep ahead and to cope with the pressures, stresses and challenges that you encounter on a daily basis.

Here are 8 ways to increase your energy levels so that you can be a high performer:

  • Get up early – waking up early gets your energy levels up early in the day
  • Exercise daily – exercising increases your stamina and energy
  • Cultivate a calm, positive mind – having a positive mind, helps you focus on one thing at a time so that your mind doesn’t drain your energy
  • Drink enough water (at least 2 litres) – water energises and cleans out toxins
  • Eat brown food instead of white – brown food releases sugar slowly so helps you maintain constant energy levels
  • Eat 5 small meals a day (Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner) – by eating smaller, regular meals, your energy levels remain constant
  • Study daily for mental fitness – studying or reading stimulates your mind and helps you become more creative and more mentally energetic
  • Breathe – Each breath in energises you and each breath out removes toxins

We hope you find these energy tips useful.
